The past few days have been a bit of a shocker in regards to anything fitness like. This is including my diet, the nights have been late and mornings even later therefore breakfast is more like an early lunch. I have been having a few scotches over the last few days, something I do very rarely. The only time I generally have a drink is when family or friends visit ( which is now) and that is only a few times a year. Im not feeling sick, just feel, I dont know weird it is too hard to explain, just not myself. The plan for the next fews days is alot quieter, so I may be able to get into a proper routine again.
I went to the rehab Doc on Tuesday and he is happy with the progress, he didn't really say much, he is the type that likes talking about other topics and telling stories. Nice person but it is hard to get information out of him. He has released me to go back to work, however before I had my surgery I had planned to take off the 23 Dec - 23 Jan off. I have a program that helps me return to work or rather full duties quicker, this entails 3 sessions a week with the physio. The first being tomorrow.
I haven't done anything since my Saturday track session where my legs ached, they feel good at the moment and have all week. Actually I lie I have been doing quite a bit of walking playing tour guide to my visitors so that may count for something.
I think I will go to the track tonight, the Run Inns speed session or rather fast jog session for me, hopefully more than 3 people turn up. I thought the new year is the most popular time for fitness, resolutions and all, we will see.
Happy training :)

Great news from the doc Shane! And he mightn't give you much information, but at least he's not giving you bad information.
Enjoy the speed session tonight. Hope the weather cools down a little before then.
