Suprisingly I wasn't that sore after Sunday and was actually capable of running 5k the following morning. This week I have just taken it easy as I don't want to get stuck into serious training too soon as I will get injured. So this week has been three days of running, approximately 5-7k each session.
This morning I went to the gym and ran 5k on the tready in 20.44, then done 15 minutes on the spin bike and rowed 1500m on the rowing machine. It was quite tough and with no air con, just the fans that the larger bodied people hog, it was like a sauna.
Anyway I got through it and went back to work for a few hours and knocked off at lunch. I like the time around Christmas plenty of early days.
Sunday I have my 2nd Christmas function for work and we are all heading to Bribie Island for some water skiing and relaxation on the bay. Should be a good day, however before I head there I was thinking that I might venture to BRRC, apparently there is a 15k run being held, I might even try and drag my Kurrawa partner there aswell.
Last thing before I go, the results are up for the race last Sunday and we actually came 5th out of 47 teams. Very happy with that result in an official time of 3.56.24 for 50k.

Were your K2D results okay? I seem to have been robbed of about 1 minute and a half. I notice Jen Epps time is wrong too, she told me she ran about 2:02 but has been given a 2:05. Also some of the total times are a bit funny. Either they are wrong or lots of us have dodgey watches :-)
